The Faerie Queens
In the Faerie Realms, there are many queens with many roles. The tiny Fairy Queen Mab is said to gallop through the night, seeding dreams with the images of love. The Fairy Queen Viviane, the Lady of the Lake in Arthurian legends, captivated none less than Merlin with her charms. Queen Titania is renown for the magnificent faerie balls that she organizes (If you are going to one, be sure to consult Fairy Marie for advice on your gown!). There are many mystical Kings and Queens who take a great interest in the weather. There is Lei Kong, master of thunder in China and Perkunas, master of the skies from Lithuania. The Nordic Ran is the mother Tempestary of the nine waves and the Japanese Shina-To-Be spreads dark mists over the land. It is worth reading the myths to discover their amazing stories.
Our Snow Queen is much more benevolent and playful. Fairy Miryam loves to create snow so that she can go snow boarding. Like all the weather spirits, though, she has a temper, so be careful not to anger any of the tempest faeries, or they might throw lightning and pelter you with hailstones.

Now, remember, the fairies have a sense of humour and at first you may not even realize that your wish has arrived. The thing you imagined so well may no longer be appropriate for you, according to the whim of the fairies! If it does not look exactly as you imagined, you will still know for sure when the wish has come true, because you will recognise the feeling, which after all, was the important part.
